India is a country that takes pride in its gateways.  There's the Gateway of India in Delhi, and then the India Gate in Mumbai.  I think every major city has a gate.  I expanded on this, taking photos of commonly used gates: real gates, doorways, stairwells.  Egress here means not just a way out, but a way through, a doorway, a portal, through which Indians of all walks of life travel.
